Quilts made by Susan Gingerich –
Sue, a long-time family friend, was born into an Amish home and remained a member of the conservative Mennonite church for many years. She is very talented and creative, with lots of experience in sewing and quilting. Each one of her twenty-five grandchildren were blessed with a beautiful quilt made with love by their grandma.
While most of her quilts aren’t the usual Amish styles, they’re stunning and well-made, featuring some unique designs and high quality fabric. Some of the backings may be pieced, since she likes to use up all her scraps, leaving no material to waste.
